An example of a blockage
The picture below was taken during heart catheterization in a 57 year old gentleman who was having angina. It shows a 70% blockage or narrowing in the proximal or early portion of the right coronary artery. This artery supplies the inferior or bottom portion of the heart. The patient desired medical treatment and did well for a year.
